报告题目:Evolution of AI and Advanced Robotic Systems
内容简介:Since its creation in 1950s, Artificial Intelligence (AI) has now experienced significant advancement and breakthroughs. Numerous AI applications in industries, healthcare and customer services have transformed the way we work and live. Therefore, it is very important to understand AI and explore its various stages, especially its impacts on building advanced robotic systems. In this talk, I will firstly outline the evolution of artificial intelligence. Then, my talk will be focused on the AI-powered robots that can perform tasks and make decisions autonomously. These robots have the intelligence to sense, process information, learn from experience, and interact with their environment to achieve specific goals. Thirdly, I will explain how ChatGPT could play an important role to build advanced robotic systems in various applications. Finally, the future trend of AI and advanced robotic systems will be briefly described. More specifically, behaviour modelling, sensor data fusion and sensor-based control are discussed in my talk respectively, and some preliminary experimental results are demonstrated through video.
